I was just wondering if someone would like to take over keeping an eye on the birthday list and posting birthdays? I can only sit for so long at the moment with the trapped nerves in my neck. YES I'VE CHANGED, PAIN DOES THAT TO PEOPLE.

Oh Joanna-you star!!! Thank you so much The birthday list is here and I usually print the whole thing out so it's easier to keep an eye on. http://www.nras.org.uk/m....aspx?g=posts&t=222
This will help to cut down the time I sat at the computer just till I get some relief from the trapped nerves. Huge brownie points for you! YES I'VE CHANGED, PAIN DOES THAT TO PEOPLE.

Hi Julie - sorry to hear about your neck - how are you doing? Did anything in particular cause the trapped nerves? Hope things are improving.

Hi Julie-yes it's osteoarthritis which has caused two discs to collapse and they are pinching the nerve which goes down my left arm, causing numbess and pins and needles. I've been offered physio but there's not much else they can do. YES I'VE CHANGED, PAIN DOES THAT TO PEOPLE.

Oooh that sounds awful. I had an accident years ago and had some trapped nerves - I know what the pain is like but I knew mine was only temporary. Have you had to stay off work?

Thanks for the link Julie! I'll update the list and everyone can make sure they're on it.
Hope you get some relief from that arm soon ... sounds very painful.

Sounds nasty Julie. Give the physio a go, it's worth a try.

Hi Julie,
So sorry to hear of your neck problems, have you tried massage. My husband gets bother with his neck and my daughter is A Beauty Therapist, she is excellent at this and made a significant difference to his neck. When you have problems like this you tend to tense up trying to protect it, causing the muscles to stiffen and create more pain, massage loosens this, it can be sore whilst getting it, but the difference is amazing. I have also had her work on my neck when I had neck problems due to RA, did help immensely. Hope you get some relief soon. Love Lorna xx
